It's that time of year again

It’s time for North Yorkshire Open Studios. Lots of preparation works is currently underway to get the studio sorted out and ready for visitors and it’s proving quite fun to find all the work that has been lurking in hidden corners over the past year and that sometimes I’ve even forgotten I’d made. Last year I wasn’t able to have people in the actual studio as it wasn’t quite finished but I’m pleased to say that this year I’ll actually be able to show people around where I work and also have a bit of extra space to display work as well.

It’s also inspired me to finally get around to updating the galleries on my website so there is also lot of new work to see there too. Lots of new work in the ‘Above’ category including some work on different surfaces for a change plus a whole new gallery of ‘small works’ where I’ve been experimenting with trying new things out and thinking more about scale.

Open Studio dates: first two weekends in June (10am to 5pm). Full details of all the artists taking part plus how to find them at www.nyos.co.uk
